Part of the fun of doing this blog is finding different pictures of numbers to indicate the day I'm on. Thought this one with a crown was cute.
Usually, my official weigh in day is on Tuesday. A few times I've had to move it up a day or two because I was going away. Last week I weighed in on Monday -- one day before I was supposed to and only lost .3 pounds. This week I will be weighing in on Sunday because of the Super Bowl -- so again one day before I'm supposed to. This wreaks havoc with my 1 pound a week plan because sometimes you need that one extra day to show a weight loss.
This morning I was dying to see where I was weight-wise and I also wanted to weigh myself for my Diet Bet challenge and report my results there. For the Diet Bet challenge, I use my digital scale as opposed to the doctor-like scale I use for this blog. I also have clothes on for the Diet Bet thing because I had to take a picture of myself for them on my scale and I certainly wasn't doing that unclothed. So on the digital scale, I was down a full pound this week for the challenge. This puts me at 66% of my goal. This is going to be harder than I thought. I have about 10 days left in that challenge to lose about 3 pounds. It's going to come down to the wire. I just might have to start exercising. Yikes!!! Since there's money involved if you reach your goal, I certainly intend to get there.
Even though I'm not counting this for my official blog weigh-in, I did get on my other scale and it only showed a 1/2 pound difference. This motivates me to be especially good today to make sure that shows 1 pound by tomorrow. Already I've had a Dunkin Donut's cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese for breakfast and plan on having a Weight Watcher's dinner this evening. Hopefully that will do the trick. And I continued on being good by having the Weight Watcher's rigatoni dinner and nothing else. Let's see if it shows up in some additional weight loss tomorrow.
