WEEK 2 -- TEN DAYS IN


Well, I've completed 1/3 of the month and I'm still feeling positive.  Last night, however, I read through the 45 blog entries of when I had tried to do this in 2010.  I have to say that each entry was very interesting.....much more interesting than these past ten entries of 2013.  I think I was more motivated and was reaching out to media outlets for more information on things I could do to be successful.  I guess the reaching out didn't work as I never even finished the month of February.

As I was reading those entries, I realized that there was something missing this time that I had available in 2010.  That something is Jenny Craig food.  This is almost a staple for me for anytime I've tried to lose weight.  I need that SOMETHING to reach for when I don't know what to have for dinner.  The added bonus is that the food is great and doesn't taste dietetic at all.  I guess that's because it isn't really diet food.  It's regular food that has been proportioned.  The great thing about Jenny Craig food is that it tastes great.  They had a special where you could order three days worth of food for $39 and free shipping.  Since I don't usually eat lunch, I can use the three lunches for dinners so this will last well over a week.  When I finish it, I will just place a regular order so that I have the food on hand when I need it.

Still housebound today waiting for the gas station to call to say my new tires are on my car and it's ready for pickup.  Today I had waffles for breakfast and two White Castle hamburgers for dinner.  I'm doing incredibly well at night when I go upstairs to watch TV and really haven't been missing all the candy I was so used to eating.  Tomorrow is movie day....hope that goes well.
