WEEK 1 -- DAY 3 -- AND I'M STILL HERE

Wow, three days in and I'm still blogging.  I think the hardest part about this whole thing is not weighing myself and not knowing where I stand weight-wise.

Today I went to the mall to return Christmas gifts.  I'm so heavy that I have to stop every so often just to sit down.  What is wrong with me?  How do I let myself get to this point?  It also stinks that I had an allergic reaction to wood cleaner about three weeks ago. An allergic reaction for me manifests itself in cold-like symptoms.  First it's in my head, then congestion in my nose, then it rests in my chest.  I just can't seem to kick it.  So it definitely affects my breathing. And my knee is killing me.  I'm quite sure I will eventually need knee replacement.  But, perhaps if I lose enough weight, the pain will subside.  I see all of these people on The Biggest Loser who lose a lot of weight and then their knee pain goes away.  Please let that happen to me.

We went to lunch in the mall to the Cheescake Factory.  I had a turkey club sandwich and only ate half and some sweet potato fries.  Brought the other half home to my husband.  Also forgot to mention that we stopped at Dunkin Donuts on the way and I had a French Cruller...my breakfast.  Ended up not having dinner but did eat a Hershey bar and some goldfish.....not the best thing to be eating but still a lot less than I was eating before.

No one said it was going to be the healthiest weight loss program.  But I know myself....as I begin to lose weight, I begin to choose healthier options.  Tomorrow's a new day.
