WEEK 1 -- DAY 7 -- FIRST WEIGH-IN


3 lbs. lost -- 228.5 lbs.

I actually had to weigh myself a day shy of a full week because I was leaving for the Borgata today and wouldn't be able to weigh myself tomorrow morning.  So, considering this is the weight loss for only 6 days, makes it even better.

It's funny how you know your body.  Three pounds is exactly how much I thought I had lost.  Today I stopped at the store on the way to the Borgata and bought a blueberry croissant for breakfast....even though it was already 2PM when I was eating it.  I also bought a bag of pretzels and had a few on the ride down.  We had dinner at a Japanese restaurant and I had one of the best meals I've ever had.  As an appetizer, we had crispy rock shrimp, and I ordered the kobe beef with fried rice for the main course.  The big downfall, however, was the dessert menu.  I ended up getting a s'mores tart which was unbelievable.   I only ate half of it but definitely could have eaten the entire thing.  I know this sounds like a bad day but.....it's still less than I was eating.

So all in all, I consider this a very successful week.  Hoping this next week goes as well.  I'll even get an extra day in because it will be eight full days before I weigh myself again.
